An impressive architectural building, established by Baron Rothschild in 1890, houses the Raphael House Hotel. During its many incarnations, it initially served as a residence for clerical workers, and during the early 1920s it was occupied by both the local council of Rishon Le’Tzion and the agricultural committee, later serving as the main offices of Rishon Le’Tzion Municipality until 2005. The building was the declared a historic landmark and restored to its former glory to blend perfectly with nearby houses from colonial times.
